Dans le cadre du développement stratégique de ses activités, notre client recrute un Distribution & Operation manager.

Job Summary :

  • The Distribution Manager – Larache oversees the operations of receiving, cooling, and shipping fruit, the manufacturing processes involved, and the execution of the packaging plan to ensure full product availability.
  • This role is responsible for optimizing cold chain quality while meeting customer service commitments, ensuring comprehensive safety programs, managing key relationships with distribution centers, growers, and local authorities, and driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
  • The Distribution Manager – Larache plays a critical role in our pursuit of increased reliability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate closely with the S&OP team to define capacity requirements (facilities and activities) and drive initiatives to resolve capacity constraints.
  • Oversee production processes to ensure high-quality output and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage all warehousing activities, including inventory management, storage, and order fulfillment.
  • Implement best practices to enhance productivity and minimize waste.
  • Supervise the maintenance of all production and warehousing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Oversee the storage of packaging materials and the packaging process to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of managers and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets for production, warehousing, and packaging operations.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Track key performance indicators (safety, quality, customer service, cost, engagement, and sustainability) to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with the Lean Distribution team to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including food safety, labor laws, and environmental guidelines.
  • Develop contingency plans to manage major supply and demand disruptions.
  • Partner with the commercial organization to support new business model development.
  • Act as liaison with internal and external partners for both strategic and tactical activities.

 People Management Responsibilities :

  • As a people manager , you are responsible for the full employee lifecycle:
  • Workforce Planning: Align the people plan with the business plan.
  • Hiring: Identify, evaluate, and hire new team members.
  • Onboarding: Integrate new employees into the organization.
  • Managing: Organize and coordinate team activities to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Development: Partner with employees to create growth and development plans.
  • Employee Safety: Ensure both physical and psychological safety in the workplace.
  • Offboarding: Manage employment.

Profil :

Qualifications :

  • Education & Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced level of English.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Site Operations Manager in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven experience in managing large teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading transformational projects.
