As part of its development, our leading client in its sector of activity is recruiting a Demand Planning Manager

Job description:

• Leads the demand planning teams in the country and drives them towards demand excellence.
• Plans, coordinates and executes demand planning activities.
• Mentors and guides demand planners in their daily activities and throughout the demand plan preparation process.
• Develop demand forecasting models and oversees implementation of ERP
• Comply with internal processes and procedures
• Control budget and cost saving

Key accountabilities:

Leads the demand planning teams in the country and drives them towards demand excellence:

• Provides guidance to demand planners in completing daily activities
• Revision of demand plans prior attaining approvals from management
• Coordinates with management and procurement to resolve supply bottlenecks
• Reviews supply contracts provided from procurement and assures that they are up to scope and need
• Assures that all supply contracts are renewed proactively 
• Collaborates with different departments to set a consolidated demand plan for the products required based on historical and forecasted need.

Plans, coordinates and executes demand planning activities.

• Manages relationship with Procurement and other departments involving generation of reports on pending orders, deliveries, and feedback on suppliers/items quality
• Assists demand planners and procurement team in resolving internal (FH) or external (Vendors)
• Resolves bottlenecks in the process

 Mentors and guides demand planners in their daily activities and throughout the demand plan preparation process:

• Researches for better products and supply sources in cooperation with functional managers and procurement
• Assures that products provided by procurement are the best in the market to serve the business need.
• Rapports strong communication with procurement and other departments
• Initiates active discussions to improve the products list of our client with the procurement team and functional managers.

Develop demand forecasting models and oversees implementation of ERP:

• Demand forecasting within the process to submit revisions to plans with variance analysis and recommendations
• Follows up on the implementation of ERP functionalities in demand planning
• Ensures reporting is made timely and clear to management
• Creates and develops the forecasting models that are being used

Profil :

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business- Supply Chain Management or any related field
• Master’s degree is advantageous
• Additional degrees in supply chain management is advantageous

Knowledge

• Language Proficiency
• Fluent in English

Technical Competencies:

• Advanced MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint
• Advanced utilization to business intelligence tools like PowerBI, Tableau or others
• Advancedcompetencywith ERP Solutions (Oracle & SAP)

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the field of supply chain or demand planning
• Experience in team management
• Experience with organizations which have a high influence of processes and procedures
• Experience with organizations which have a strong rapport to demand planning
