The story of our client began in Beirut, Lebanon. 1964. Khalil Sukkar founded his first company, quickly became the leading designer and supplier of industrial systems in the country. In 2012, our client settled in Morocco - first in Nador, then in Berkane, Rabat and Casablanca. In Morocco, he cleans, collects, sweeps and transforms the streets. So far, it has collected 2.6 million tons of waste. They kept the cities beautiful.

Our Client is looking for a reliable Construction Project Manager to plan construction projects in Tangier, projects assigned will include the construction of sorting plant and landfill facilities. He will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.

The Construction Manager will be hired on project basis, with a fixed term contract until the project is finished (estimated duration 6 to 12 months)

Summary of Job:

Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Main Duties:

- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion

- Go over plans and blueprints, making timetables for the project

- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with safety rules and regulations

- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors

- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory

- Meet contractual conditions of performance

- Review the work progress on daily basis

- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site

- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out

- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status

- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses

- Analyse, manage and mitigate risks

- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

 

Profil :

- BS degree in Civil Engineering, architecture, or related field

- Proven working experience in construction management

- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods (initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work)

- Understanding of all facets of the construction process

- Competent in conflict and crisis management

- Leadership and human resources management skills

- Excellent time and project management skills
